Application & Removal
Application Guide
-
With Sticky Tabs
- Trim your natural nails short.
- Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles.
- Remove any dead skin around the cuticles for a cleaner look.
- Buff your nails until they lose their shine to improve grip.
- Clean your nails with alcohol pads to remove any oil or dirt.
- Choose the correct sticky tab size for each nail.
- Apply the sticky tabs onto your nail beds, one by one, and peel of the clear film to reveal the sticky sides
- Heat up the sticky sides with a hairdryer, this makes them last longer
- Place the press-on nail at a 45-degree angle, pressing from cuticle to tip, avoiding the skin.
- Press firmly on the nail for 30 seconds.
- Keep your nails away from water and oil for at least 2 hours after application.
Remember:
Sticky tabs are ideal for short-term wear (1-2 days) or just for an event and make the nails easy to reuse and switch out whenever you want! For longer wear, use nail glue instead.

With Nail Glue
- Trim your natural nails short.
- Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles.
- Remove any dead skin around the cuticles for a cleaner look.
- Buff your nails until they lose their shine to improve grip.
- Clean your nails with alcohol pads to remove any oil or dirt.
- Apply an even layer of glue to both your nail bed and the inside of the press-on nail where it will contact your nail. Avoid using too much glue.
- Place each press-on nail at a 45-degree angle, starting at the cuticle and pressing toward the tip, making sure there are no air bubbles. Avoid pressing the nail onto your skin.
- Press firmly on the nail for 30 seconds.
- Keep your nails away from water and oil for at least 2 hours after application.
Remember:
You can still reuse press-on nails with glue by using a small nail drill (affordable and easy to find online). Glue is best if you want your nails to last 2-3 weeks, but you won’t be able to change them as often as with sticky tabs. For short-term use, stick with sticky tabs.
Don't forget!
- To always get rid of the glue residue completely and clean your fingers before changing a set of nails
- Our press on nails are reusable. Please store them in their original package and reuse them
- Please do not remove your nails violently when you're taking them off. Please follow the detailed guide on how to remove press-on nails on misomi’s social media page or on misomistudio.com.

Removal Guide
-
Gentle Method
- Apply cuticle oil (or any oil) around the edges of your nails and close your nail bed.
- In a bowl, mix hot (not scalding) water with a little splash of oil and dish soap.
- Submerge your fingers in the solution for 10-20 minutes.
- After soaking, gently wiggle your nails to see if they begin to lift.
- If your nails are lifting, carefully use a cuticle pusher to lift the edges of the press-ons.
- If sticky tabs were used, continue using the cuticle pusher to remove any remaining tabs. Clean your press-on nails with alcohol pads and store them properly.
- If there is any remaining nail glue left on the press-ons, gently file it off using a nail file. You can apply acetone to your fingers only AFTER removing the press-on nails.
- Apply cuticle oil and hand cream to nourish your nails and skin.
Note
Please be careful when using acetone, as it may damage the press-on nails and affect their reusability.
